What to Expect from Kindermusik

ABRSM Grade 6–8 Music Theory Group Class

Master advanced music theory in a focused and engaging group setting. Ideal for students preparing for ABRSM exams or diploma studies, this class covers harmony, analysis, score reading, and more. Guided by experienced instructors, our small group format encourages interaction, deeper understanding, and exam success.

Lesson Policy

1. Lesson Fees
  • Fees are due by the 7th of every month (latest by the 2nd week).
  • Payments are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be deferred to another month, except under special circumstances.
  • The studio reserves the right to withhold lessons if fees remain unpaid.
  • No fee reduction will be given for absences or holidays.

A RM50 registration fee is charged upon enrolment.

  • A one-month deposit is required upon enrolment or when promoting to a higher grade.
  • Deposits are non-refundable in cash under any circumstances.
  • Deposit will be used to offset the final month’s fees when lessons are terminated.
  • 24 hours’ notice is required if a student cannot attend a scheduled lesson.
  • In the event of illness or emergency, please inform the teacher/school administrator via message.
  • If a teacher is absent, a replacement lesson will be arranged.
  • No replacement will be given if a student is absent without prior notice.
  • To suspend lessons for one month or more, fees for that period must still be paid to secure the vacancy. 
  • Deposits will be forfeited if a student discontinues lessons without providing at least one month’s notice (or one term’s notice for the Kindermusik course).
  • Students absent for more than 2 months must re-enrol, with registration fees charged again.

Students must be punctual for lessons, as no replacement or extension will be provided for late arrivals.

No lessons will be held during Leto Music Academy’s term breaks or on gazetted public holidays.

  • A one-month written notice is required to terminate lessons. 
  • The deposit will be used to offset the final month’s fees.
  • Deposits will be forfeited if this rule is not followed.

The academy reserves the right to transfer, combine, or dissolve classes when necessary.

  • Students should be picked up immediately after class.
  • The academy is not responsible for accidents or injuries once the lesson has ended. 
  • Parents are fully responsible for their child’s safety outside lesson hours.
  • All official announcements (e.g. exam dates, concerts, holidays) will be posted on the academy’s Facebook and Instagram pages. 
  • Parents/students are responsible for checking updates regularly.

Please notify the academy immediately of any changes to your address or phone number to ensure smooth communication.

What types of classes do you offer?
  • We offer individual lessons for Piano, Violin, Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, and Vocal.

  • We also offer Kindermusik group classes for children aged 3–7 years old, Grade 6–8 Music Theory group classes, and piano practice room rental for students or the public who need a quiet, well-equipped space.

For most instruments, students can start from age 5 and above. Younger children can join Kindermusik from age 3. We also welcome adult learners at any level.

You can register in three simple steps:

  • Contact us via our website form, WhatsApp, or phone.
  • Book a trial lesson for us to assess readiness and recommend the right class.
  • Confirm your enrollment and make the first month’s payment to secure your slot.

Yes. We prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity College London, Trinity Rock & Pop, and Rockschool exams.

  • Our Kindermusik group classes are 45 minutes for children aged 0–5 years, and 1 hour for children aged 4.5–7 years.
  • Individual lessons are available in 30-, 45-, or 60-minute formats.
  • Group theory classes are usually 60–90 minutes.

Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance so we can arrange a replacement session (subject to availability).

Yes. Our piano practice room is available for rental by both students and the public, depending on booking availability.
